Work’s begun on Finegrain, a quarterly magazine celebrating the best in analog photography.
Each issue will be 44-60 pages in length, full of evocative writing about places and the people who make them special, and illustrated with beautiful photographs. The magazine will be published digitally, and an end-of-year printed book edition will be produced, comprising all four issues plus additional material.
Finegrain Magazine is interested in your submissions for upcoming issues. Submissions to Finegrain consist of a body of photographic work and an accompanying narrative that, together, convey a “sense of place”.
Acceptance
Accepted submissions will:
- Meet the content and design goals of Finegrain Magazine.
- Consist of a combination of imagery (number of images to be negotiated) and textual material (1000-1500 words).
- Consist of original material, to which the author holds full copyright.
While we will consider inclusion of previously-published work, we prefer to feature as-yet-unpublished pieces.
